The Best Double Buggy Strollers

A double buggy is perfect for twins who are due, or if you have two children of different ages. The ideal double buggy is easy to maneuver and can take on rough surfaces.

These cars also come with features such as large sun canopies, as well as transparent hoods, as well as adjustable seats.

1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double

The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest model in the Baby Jogger range. It's designed for travel and easily fits through the majority of doors with its narrow design, it's also one of the lightest double buggies on the market, weighing just 14lbs when folded. This makes it perfect for flying with a baby and toddler because you won't have to exceed the luggage allowances of airlines. It can also be folded up into the size of a small travel bag, so you can store it in the back of your car.

The one-handed Z-shape fold is a breeze and is extremely compact once you've mastered it. It takes a few seconds to unfold. However, our tester found the auto lock to be a little confusing. As the handlebar doesn't lock to its place when you press it, it landed on her legs when she used it. She also thought the handlebar was on the short side. This is particularly true when a large changing bag is hanging from it.

This double stroller isn't as light as other travel buggies. It has a full variety of features, and is among the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It is compatible with two carrycots (available separately), features various recline positions, and has a UV 50+ canopy. You can add a bassinet on one or both seats to make this an all-in-one travel system.

The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements as well as urban terrain. However, they're not made for off-roading. They struggled with gravel and long grass and there wasn't enough clearance between the wheel bracket and the wheel, so mud stuck easily. Our testers loved this buggy, and it was able to climb some beautiful muddy hills.

2. iCandy Orange

The iCandy Orange is a premium double buggy that is a top choice in design and versatility. It is an essential item for parents who want a stylish, high-quality double buggy that lasts. The Orange has an elegant frame that is lightweight and sleek with a large basket that easily fits two car seats. It features an elegant, adjustable canopy that is both water-resistant and breathable. It comes in trendy colours - Pistachio, Fossil, Latte and Rose on a Jet Black frame. There is also the possibility of a built-in riding on board for older sibling to join in the fun.

This 2021 update has few improvements, including improved maneuverability, a larger basket and a redesigned bumper bar with leatherette cover. The seats are moulded and are really comfortable. They're also adjustable, so they can be placed to meet the needs of siblings. iCandy is the first to introduce a "cinema seating" style that allows parents to keep eye contact between both children. They can be adjusted so that they face the parent or the world.

It's a heavier tandem buggie but it's a breeze to drive and use especially on smooth pavements. It feels stable in both double and single mode and even on sloping ground. It is not as easy to use on public transport because it requires two hands on the handlebar. It's also quite heavy and will not fit in a standard car boot with the seat on, however this can be overcome with some thoughtful planning. iCandy include an infant footmuff, a changing bag and car seat adapters included in the price, making this an excellent value bundle for new parents.

3.  best double buggy  is an ultra-lightweight tandem stroller. It has two seats that are non-reversible which are perfect for infants to about 3 years old. Additionally, it can fit a car seat in the rear seat.

It has an easy and user-friendly folding mechanism, making it convenient for storage and travel. It also comes with a large basket that is perfect for storing your baby and toddler's essentials.

The Joie Evalite Duo is a ideal double buggy for newbies because it is a great value for money and is easy to steer. It is also extremely lightweight, making it easier to push over long distances. It also has a high-quality suspension system, which ensures a smooth ride for both parents and children.

This is a stylish and practical city buggy that can be used for twins or a baby with a toddler, or even three children with the addition of UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack' board (sold separately). It has a sleek frame and compact dimensions, making it suitable for narrow city streets and shopping malls. The swivel wheels on front and four-wheel suspension allows it to navigate uneven or slightly rough terrain.

Another benefit is that this buggy can fit a car seat in the back making it a great choice for families who plan to travel. It features the one-click fold that secures it and can be used with a wide range of Joie infant car seat. It also has a spacious basket and comfortable seats for both children. The only downside is the front seat can't recline completely, which can be a concern for small babies. However, it's an excellent choice for families seeking a low-cost and light stroller.

4. Cybex Gazelle S

This is the stroller to get if you are expecting twins. It's the first travel system made by Cybex and comes with built-in adaptors which make it easy to convert one pushchair to a double. The upper adaptors can easily slide up and down to suit your height whilst the lower ones can be twisted around and turned over making it easy to change from one configuration to another. The Gazelle's seat reclines into an upright position. It also comes with a large UV 50+ sun shade that is essential for your children.

This is the modern multi-purpose stroller that is able to adapt to the needs of your family. It's suitable from birth as a mono-pushchair and from four years as double pushchair with the addition of a CLOUD Z iSize car seat or a second seat unit or Gazelle Cot. The new safety harness that is one-pull makes it easy to ensure your child's safety even when you're wearing your baby on your back.

The Gazelle S is unlike most double strollers as it folds down compactly with the two seats firmly attached. This makes it simple to store at home or even in your trunk. A huge lower basket holds up to 25 pounds of shopping, daily essentials or groceries and a detachable shopper basket gives you more space for everything you buy. This stroller is extremely versatile and family-friendly thanks to its harness that is one-pull and large recline. It also has puncture-proof wheels so you aren't worried about flat tires during your adventures.

5. Nipper Double V5

The Nipper Double V5 from Out 'n' About is a refreshed version of the award-winning all-terrain buggy. It's made for siblings or twins and has separate reclined seats, compatibility carrycots and a lightweight frame that allows for easy maneuvering on bumpy terrain.

The height adjustable handle and rear wheel suspension provide the comfort of children up to 22kg, while the hard-wearing pneumatic tyres are easy to clean and provide a smooth ride for jogging. The 360-degree swivel wheel can be locked to make it easier to manoeuvre around the town. The one-pedal lock brake is also simple to use.

Our test participants found that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to manoeuvre, even when moving on uneven ground or turning quickly in a busy street. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was also an enormous hit.

The hoods were also simple to adjust for sun or wind protection. Our test subjects did notice however that they didn't provide an enormous amount of coverage as similar to the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods which is why it's recommended to bring a rain jacket just in case.

Overall, our testers were impressed with the way the Nipper Double allowed them to take their twins Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rushing to the park to play with their friends. They were also amazed by how cozy and spacious the two seats are with plenty of room for toddlers to stretch out in. The lack of parent-facing seating and the inability to use car seat with this buggy were noted as a drawback by our test participants. They would have also preferred a larger storage space to store shopping items and other accessories.
